2025-2026 Financial Aid Policy

Supporting families in their commitment to Christian education

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Texoma Christian School provides a program of financial aid for families who desire a Christian education for their children and are willing to make a personal sacrifice but lack sufficient resources to fully cover the cost of tuition.

Important: TCS does not award scholarships. Financial Aid is only available to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Financial Aid Policy

Complete guidelines for the 2025-2026 school year

1

Financial aid is need-based and in the form of a tuition discount. The financial aid discount is for tuition only and does not apply to application fees, registration fees, after school program charges, lunch, athletic fees, or any other fees or charges.

2

TCS does not make a distinction in the admission or re-enrollment of a student based on a student needing financial aid. TCS families should not assume that financial aid awarded in a given year will be awarded in subsequent years.

3

Eligibility for financial aid at TCS is based on demonstrated financial need, current account status, available space, number of students at TCS, responses to application questions and unusual circumstances. A family account must be current to be considered for financial aid.

4

Priority is given to returning families who have paid their re-enrollment fee by February 14, 2025.

5

A new family must have paid the application/testing fee, been accepted, and paid the new student admission fee.

6

Students on probation for academic or behavior reasons, as well as families that do not adhere to school policies and procedures may not qualify for continuation of financial aid.

7

Application Deadlines:

  • Returning families: Application to FACTS Grant and Aid must be completed and submitted by April 30, 2025
  • New families: Application must be completed and submitted within 2 weeks of being accepted for admission

Important: Incomplete financial aid applications will not be processed. If applications are not submitted by the deadline, your student will lose their enrollment position and the re-enrollment/admission fee. Falsification of information will disqualify applicants for financial aid, including a situation where all income sources are not reported.

8

Completion of the application process does not guarantee that financial aid will be awarded.

9

Divorced Parents - Joint Custody:

If divorced parents have joint custody, the assets of both parents must be considered in the financial aid decision of the committee; therefore, both parents will have to submit the Financial Aid Application and tax documents to FACTS Grant and Aid. If the custodial parent has remarried, the assets of the step-parent will also be considered during the needs assessment.

10

Third-Party Financial Responsibility:

If someone other than the parent is financially responsible for the tuition and is requesting financial aid, that person, along with the parents, must submit a Financial Aid Application and tax documents to FACTS Grant and Aid to be considered by the committee.

11

Tax Document Requirements:

Prior to March 15th: FACTS will accept 2023 tax documents and 2024 W-2's; however, 2024 Tax documents are preferable.

After March 15th: Tax documents submitted to FACTS must be 2024 tax records and 2024 W-2's.

If you are filing a tax extension, Form 4868 must be provided to FACTS along with previous year taxes.

12

The Financial Aid Committee uses the needs assessment from FACTS Grant and Aid to determine final awards.
